’Parade’ is based on the true story of Jewish factory manager Leo Frank who was wrongfully accused and convicted in 1913 for the rape and murder of a 13-year old factory worker. While his initial death penalty was reduced to life imprisonment, the massive media provokation and air of fanaticism, blatant discrimination, corruption, antisemitism, and misinformation resulted in Leo Frank’s kidnapping and eventual murder.

‘Parade’ is one of those masterpieces that relentlessly tugs at the heartstrings, while warming the heart equally as relentlessly. From the haunting relevance of it and layered, passionate performances by the incredibly talented cast to the magnificent original music, from the exceptional ensemble to unparallelled and punchy lyrics, from the gripping true story to the high-powered imagery with just enough showstopper-qualities to enthrall, from delving deep into complex human emotions to the courageous love between a man and his young wife at the core of it all, ‘Parade’ is destined for triumph - absolutely the biggest must-see of the season.
